The annual meeting of the Centerville-Washington Diversity Council will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 23 at Woodbourne Library, 6060 Far Hills Avenue, Centerville. Light refreshments will be served.

The evening will begin with a tour of the newly expanded Woodbourne Library at 6:00 pm followed by a short business meeting at 6:30 pm where participants will learn more about the activities of the Council and how you can become involved. Committees include Programs and Education, Membership Development, Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast, Community Projects, and all welcome new members.

The highlight of the program will be a presentation by the Agape Nepalese Church of Dayton including a native dance performed by Nepalese children. “The mission of the Council includes education on various cultures, religions, or countries,” Sivaji Subramaniam, council chair said.  “Through presentations, stories, and dance, we will have a greater understanding about the Nepalese culture,” he said.
