Council
Education
The Council Education initiative provides ongoing diversity and
multicultural education to its own members as well as the community via:
-
Community Forum Series,
featuring guest presenters to speak on specific races, religions and
other timely topics
-
International Family
Night Out, highlighting the customs, food and other aspects of a
specific culture
Business Education
Attraction and retention of a diverse workforce is key to diversity.
Participation in Chamber of Commerce events and networking opportunities
on diversity-related business practices are just a few ways the Council
encourages a diverse workforce.
Community Projects
Projects are planned annually to promote awareness and inclusiveness
throughout the community. Ongoing projects include:
-
Quarterly Diversity
Calendar, highlighting cultural and religious events in the
community
-
